Roles: To lead and manage IT environment, projects and resources of a
bank in Egypt ensuring IT Operations are in compliance with the Group
corporate policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinates, and direct IT activities of the IT Department.
Develop and execute IT strategy under the guidelines provided by group
corporate IT division to meet group corporate goals.
Maintain IT operational plans, quality control, issue resolution, risk
management and status reporting
Develop and control IT Dept. budgets, monitor expenses, projecting
future costs.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the IT Dept.
Manage user satisfaction by providing quality application and user
support.
· Partners with business functional heads to manage business
requirements.
· Dealing and building partnership with IT Vendors and managing Vendors
SLAs.
Manage all aspects of Infrastructure and operation management including
servers, workstations, routers, bridges, switches, and connectivity to
ensure optimal performance.
Manage highly motivated, skilled IT Team
Previous Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience as Head of IT Operations or similar
position at least 5 years in a bank or financial institution.
Preferably Experienced in IT service management using ITIL, Project
Management methodology using PMI.
Experience in job scheduling, developing and maintaining budgets and
managing all aspects of IT.
Strong understanding of Banking systems and Operations.
Required Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or
Business Administration highly preferred.
Skills:
Excellent people management, team leadership, and motivational skills.
Strong customer service orientation, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work across multiple organizations and levels.
Ability to work independently and effectively as a team player.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage day to day IT operations on a consistent basis.
English language speaking and writing
