EXPLORATION PROJECT
1. Senior Exploration Geoscientist
Requirements:
- 15 year experiences
Job Responsibilities:
o Managing geological studies and special projects (2D/3D seismic
interpretation, sedimentology, sequence stratigraphy, petroleum systems and pore
pressure studies) in support of generating drillable prospects.
o Generating regional reservoir, structure, source rock, migration and
diagenetic fairway maps. Proven ability to generate exploration prospects with
sound understanding of regional geology and seismic is a must.
o Overseeing application of advanced seismic interpretation techniques such as
inversion, AVO and multi attribute analyses to understand lithology and fluid
effects.
o Providing technical assurance on reservoir geometry and distribution maps
generated using seismic modeling and interpretation.
o Integrating all available data, including engineering and production data,
interpretation and studies results to generate drillable exploration or
development prospects. Experience drilling horizontal wells in confined channel
systems would be a plus.
o Presenting prospects with sound technical justification of reserves and risks
to Company management, partners and Government of Indonesia.
o Supervising and mentoring national geologists and geophysicist.
WELLSITE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
1. Senior Geologist :
Key responsibilities include:
" Performing routine geological evaluation. This includes but is not limited to
generating detailed geological
correlations, generating appropriate maps, cross sections etc., to support field
development projects;
" Working with the team to progress infill well drilling opportunities and in
the same time provide technical leadership
and coaching to young geoscience and engineers to progress their work programme;
" Participating in a fully integrated and highly innovative team to prepare and
support execution of drilling programs
and to perform subsurface post drilling evaluation;
" Conducting geological studies to develop integrated reservoir descriptions and
geological models;
" Working with Reservoir Engineer and Geophysicist to prepare depletion
planning/reservoir management and provide
accurate assessment of reserves;
" Preparing high quality geological recommendations, presentations, and reports.
" Performing in a collaborated multidisciplinary environment
2. Senior Geophysicist:
Key responsibilities include:
" Structural and stratigraphic interpretation, forward modelling (fluid
substitution), and attribute generation;
" Interpretation of seismic for reservoir characterization studies, well
targeting and well planning;
" Working with the team to progress infill well drilling opportunities and in
the same time provide technical leadership
and coaching to young geoscience and engineers to progress their work programme;
" Involve in Drilling Operations for monitoring to ensure that the target zone
is drilled and completed as planned;
" Working with Geologist and Reservoir Engineer to prepare depletion
planning/reservoir management and provide accurate
assessment of reserves.
" Preparing high quality geophysical recommendations, presentations, and
reports.
" Performing in a collaborated multidisciplinary environment
Requirements for Geologist and Geophysicist:
" Minimum Bachelor degree in Geosciences.
" 12+ years of experience in oil and gas industry. Experience in field
development and mature field are required.
" Experience in 3D interpretation, preferably in the Landmark products such as
Stratworks, Z-Map Plus, 3D visualizaton
tool, etc.
" Strong team player in multi-disciplinary team environment.
" Good networking behaviours in technological avenues for seeking best practices
implementation,
" Good oral and written English
3. Senior Reservoir Engineer:
Key responsibilities include:
" Reserves booking management, identification, progression and assesment;
" Understanding static reservoir description and dynamic reservoir performance,
addressing & managing sub-surface risks and uncertainties;
" Working with the team to progress wellworks, infill well drilling and new
field developments opportunities;
" Involve in drilling operations monitoring to ensure that the target zone is
drilled and completed as planned;
" Working with multi-disciplinary teams to perform reservoir management and
prepare field depletion planning;
" Conduct coaching and mentoring process for new entry engineers.
