Candidate should have minimum of an HND or HNC in an Engineering discipline with at least 4 - 5 years field Drilling experience. He should also possess a Valid Well Control Certification (IWCF) and completion of a recognized drilling program is a must. He should have some understanding of fluids dynamics & also round 1 of the Shell Drilling Program or its equivalent. Candidate should be able to carry out day to day engineering checks and reviews at the site and performs supervisory functions & also monitor activities and intentions of contracts as a daily routine. He should ensure safety policies are enforced on the rig at all times & manage the HSE performance of the Rig.

He will have to perform laboratory studies for reservoir fluids and core samples.
