TRANSLATOR

Reporting to the Office Manager overall role would be

Providing an efficient and accurate translation service from Arabic to English and vice versa

Producing translated material at an appropriate linguistic level dependent on target audience

Ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained

Interpreting verbally between Arabic and English when required

Ensure consistency in all translations with regards to terminology and standards, both for internal and external use

Utilise the internet, specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and words used

Dictate translations into a tape recorder or Dictaphone

Proofread and ensure the accuracy of translated material, and edit final translated versions

Liaise with Labour, Immigration and other Government Departments as necessary, depending on the content of the material to be translated

The ideal candidate will have had a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar post, fluent in written and oral English and Arabic, knowledge and ability to use computer systems and word processing is mandatory, both in Arabic & English. UAE driving license is essential.

PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (UAE National only - Male)

Duties will include

Liaise closely with Ministry of Labor and Immigration and Office Manager to coordinate the preparation of all relevant documents required by the Ministry and Immigration.

Manage the process of new appointees' and their dependants' entry to the UAE.

Assist and support new and existing staff and their dependants with obtaining employment and residence visas. This includes handling the Government medical examination process.

Assist staff with the application for driver's license and any registration for utilities etc.

The potential candidate would report to the head of procurement department and will be responsible for the following:
