CABLING TECHNICIAN (Ref:- IC - 1)
High school with certified vocational or industrial technical training
in cabling field.
At least 2 years experience installing cabling infrastructure to support
various LAN and telephone systems in a large organization.
Work responsibilities will include to pull, drop and terminate multiple
types of cables like coax, Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables and assist contractors
for fiber optic cables. They should also be able to dress, test and
label cables in MDF and IDF closets according to EIA/TIAstandards.
Experience with various type of punch down blocks, patch panels, racks
and frames and ability to test continuity, bad splices, grounding, open
