DIRECTOR TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION
Ideal candidate should be an Electrical Engineering graduate with specialization in Power System Engineering. Minimum 10-15 years experience in large transmission and distribution system of at 132 kV voltage level with at least 5 years experience in engineering, operation & maintenance, asset management, projects and customer service. Should have effective leadership qualities and co-ordination skills.

Primary Responsibility:

• Participate in the corporate decision making process as a member of the senior management team with joint responsibility for the development of long term corporate strategies and company policies.

• Ensure that sound policies, procedures and internal controls are effectively employed for proper execution of duties, responsibilities and attainment of overall goals and targets through establishment of key performance indicators.

• Manage the development of an annual departmental strategic plan covering all aspects of the department's work, and deliver the plan.

• Manage the operations and maintenance activities of T&D assets to provide supply continuity. Ensure safe and secure operations & maintenance practices. Compliance with DPC's EHS policy and requirements. Asset management. Monitor & optimize the consumption of material, labor and inventory.

• Compliance with CSSS requirements for all services and network extensions. Capture all system extensions and survey drawings, customer database and updating the same for operations, load management and CSSS requirements. Monitor the execution of approved projects to maximize revenue.

• Ensure full utilization of ERP system, IT and communication capabilities for the efficient administration and management of business processes.

• Manage the operations and maintenance activities of T&D assets to ensure supply continuity and minimize outages.

• Supervising T&D Operations and Maintenance Manager, Customer Service and Projects/Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, IT Manager, T&D/TS Secretary.

Above position is based in Oman.
