Australian Education International (Middle East) is seeking an energetic and highly organised Regional Manger (Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Turkey & Syria) to support a small team responsible for promoting Australian education and training in the Middle East.

The Regional Manager will play a key role in undertaking and coordinating marketing activities that support the promotion of Australian education and training.

The ideal candidate must be able to work without direct supervision, an excellent time manager, have a great deal of initiative, and be client focused The Regional Manager will be required to travel in the region as directed.



Duties include but not limited to:

Management of Post Budget and commercial contracts
Production of Quarterly Middle East Newsletter
Preparation of press releases
Monitoring and summary of media coverage of Australian education and training (designated countries)
Preparation of content for Study in Australia workshops and delivery of seminars on Australian education as required (designated countries)
Building relationships: - production of market intelligence and promotion of Australian Scholarships and policies (designated countries)
Updating Country Snapshots (designated countries)
Developing a media strategy (designated countries)
Maintaining database of media contacts and organizational structures
Liaison with Australian industry (designated countries)

Selection Criteria for the ideal candidate;

Must hold Australian education qualification and have substantial “in Australia” experience
Demonstrated budget and administrative skills
Knowledge of Australian education and training industry
Knowledge and work experience in the Middle East

Demonstrated capacity to work without direct supervision
Be able to travel to Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Turkey & North Africa.
