INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Our client, a large Oil/gas organization in Qatar, has the following openings in
IT
and Telecom departments:
SNR. TELECOM ENGINEER (Projects) :
Will supervise and participate in the installation, repair and commissioning of
a wide
range of communications systems and equipment for projects such as Fibre Optic
systems
& networks, PG/GA systems, VHF/UHF radio systems, PABX systems & networks,
Structured
cabling, LAN networks, Power supplies etc. The activities shall cover Onshore/
Offshore wellheads & rigs under contract in the project. Ensure that systems
documentation, including Vendor literature, systems manuals and drawings,
engineering
studies etc. are available/ maintained. Carry out investigations on system
anomalies;
prepare/recommend corrective solutions/actions. Applicants must be
Telecommunications
Engineers or equivalent with at least 8 years directly relevant experience
preferably
in the Oil/Gas industry.
Telecom Specialist:
Applicants must have at least 2 years full-time training in Telecommunications
with
minimum 5 years in the repair and maintenance of telecommunications equipment in
an
industrial/ Oil/ Gas environment. Offshore experience will be an advantage.
SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR:
Implements, maintains and supports corporate application systems; collect
information
to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems; conduct technical research
on
system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time and compatibility with
current
system etc. Applicants must have a degree in Computer Science/ Engineering with
at
least 5 years relevant experience preferably within Oil/Gas industry.
SENIOR APPLICATIONS SUPPORT ANALYST
(SAP Security):
Team member in systems security implementation, maintenance and support of
corporate
applications, mainly SAP. Develops & maintains all aspects of SAP system
security;
coordinates implementation efforts; responsible for administering SAP Security
including SOD resolution, ID creation and maintenance, transport creation, role
creation/maintenance in corporate SAP system. Applicants must have a degree in
Computer Science with at least 8 years IT experience of which at least 6 years
should
have been in SAP Security Design/Implementation and Administration.
Based in Qatar all the above positions offer Direct Hire packages including
