We are looking for a dynamic motivated individual to join our Sales & Marketing team as Chief Commercial Officer


Role:

1. Provide strategic direction and sets priorities for the activities of Sales, Cargo, Marketing & Product, Distribution & E-Commerce, and Customer Services departments in line with corporate objectives and business goals and responsible and accountable for overall performance of the Commercial division.

10. Direct and manage the Customer Care and Service Monitoring Programme and measure ways of optimizing customer profitability using the customer-centric marketing trend.
11. Continually monitor service levels and to take a personal interest in claims and complaints, dealing with these diplomatically and punctually.
12. Implement a robust and active Sales and Service Business Plan that will stimulate sales conversion, improve staff product knowledge and expand the range of services offered to include Customer Relations, Flight Information, Staff Travel, Frequent Flyer Programme and Baggage enquiries.
13. Direct the development and implementation of policies,processes, procedures and systems for the planning and management of Commercial division.
14. Continually search for new route potential and to ensure sufficient market research is carried out on which to base conclusions/recommendations on new route profitability.
15. Ensure the Company has a sufficiently well qualified and experienced pool of marketing professionals and to make recommendations on Management recruitment, reorganization and development – as appropriate.
16. Liaise closely with Chief Strategy Officer in all aspects of medium and long term corporate development, particularly in relation to joint ventures, alliances, code sharing etc.
17. Be commercially aware of all issues affecting sales performance including competitor’s activities that could ultimately affect GF business. Monitor and assess their initiatives and costs to take tactical actions and to feed intelligence to the management.
18. Represent Gulf Air in major trade, industry and government meetings and conferences to develop and enhance the commercial image of the Company.
19. Exercise effective management supervision of the Division’s staff in terms of selecting, training, motivating, evaluating, assessing and disciplining subordinates in appropriate liaison with HR function.
20. Prepare the Commercial Division’s annual plans, capital and operating budgets and once these are approved, control expenditures and staffing to adhere to these plans and budgets.
 

Qualifications & Experience:

 A University Degree in Marketing / Business Administration
 Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and is able to articulate his/her views crisply and convincingly.

Main Objectives:

Responsible for developing and implementing Gulf Air marketing strategies, and for the positioning of its product portfolio through integrated marketing programmes through several key marketing functions including market research, product/service portfolio design, customer affinity program (including frequent flyer programs) competitor assessments, advertising, consumer promotions and marketing communications.

10. Provide the innovation to create Gulf Air’s new product and product enhancements and test the acceptance of new products during their implementation.
11. Develop and implement the airlines overall advertising program, from philosophy through to concept and copy. Review, select, and engage with chosen advertising agencies and ensure that the carriers advertised image, both corporate and regional is consistent and self enforcing.
12. Develop and implement the airline’s consumer promotions programs, both ongoing and ad hoc, so as to stimulate awareness and sales particular markets segments such as premium/corporate.
13. Implement the marketing communications program including the design, production, distribution of relevant marketing collateral such as product/services brochures, frequent flyer program literature and posters.
14. Ensure the development and coordination of the regional marketing functions in the GCC region and the Outstations to maximize revenue and enhance the company’s image.
15. Ensure that the advertising promotes the image of the company which is consistent with the marketing strategy. Liaise with Corporate Communications department to ensure agreement and common aims in projecting that image.
16. Prepare the marketing annual plans and capital and operating budgets and, manage and control all marketing expenditure and staffing against these plans and budgets.
17. Liaise with Sales and Network Division to identify the long-term marketing requirements to support the revenue targets to be achieved by the company. Guide and monitor the marketing activities towards achievement of those targets.
18. Exercise effective management of the marketing and product staff in terms of selecting, training, motivating, evaluating and disciplining subordinates in appropriate liaison with HR function.
19. Provide strong leadership and mentoring/monitoring a team of skilled marketing professionals, developing high potential individual for succession or rotation to other areas.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Sales team as Director Sales.


Main Objectives:

The Director Sales will have overall responsibility for maximizing Gulf Air revenue by creating opportunitiesin travel markets worldwide.
Plans, executes and monitors the revenue generating activities of General Sales Agents, Travel Agents and Retail Sales Outlets system wide.

Main Duties:

1. Manage all sales and services functions in Bahrain and at all overseas locations and assist the General Sales Agents, Travel Agents and Retail Sales Outlets in selling Gulf Air products.
2. Maintain close liaison with principal officers in government, corporate houses and tour companies to encourage passengers to use Gulf Air services and ensure regular contact is maintained also by appropriate Gulf Air Country Managers.
3. Oversee he organization of promotional visits, sporting events, conventions and group tour packages and ensures that nett yield is of value to Gulf Air and that suitable flight availability and seat allocations are provided.
4. Lead Gulf Air’s participation in IATA coordination meetings and directs the formulation of policies with respect to the company’s relationship with other airlines, industry associations, travel agents, general sales agents aimed at simplifying fare structures, rationalizing commission arrangements, and maximizing yields.
5. Analyze performance against approved plans and budgets by route and sales areas, and report findings on a timely basis to the managers responsible for taking any corrective actions.
6. Liaise with Revenue Management Department to ensure suitable capacity is provided for regular tour programmes and in liaison with Pricing develop innovative pricing sanctions to enable attractive, but revenue positive pricing for Government and Corporate customers, travel associated with conventions and tour movements.
7. Liaise with Head of Marketing in relation to the provision of market research services in support of maximizing revenue in the medium term.
8. Liaise with VP Information Technology in relation to continually improving the quality and quantity of IT software and hardware available to the Company Sales Personnel/Outstation Managers and to assist with the choice of systems where appropriate.
9. Take a close personal interest in development of the Company’s tours, conventions and other packaged products and to ensure the Company receives an adequate profile in this regard.
10. Develop, recommend, and negotiate General Sales Agency Agreements, Sales Agency Agreements, Credit Card Plan Agreements and similar agreements and monitor and negotiate formulas for cost sharing in BSP and CASS.
11. Direct the analysis of revenue from appointed retail sales agent’s, GSAs, etc. and control the reporting and remittance of GFs money. Advise on the establishment of revenue targets from travel agents etc.
12. Develop and implement Regional Business Plan including business priorities, revenue and cost of sales target and Key Performance Indicators for all commercial activity. Ensure clear and robust activity plans are in place and that the results are closely monitored and analyzed to maximize contribution.

Main Duties:

1. Develop short and long-range strategic plans for effective utilization of human resources, and to project current and future company wide staffing and organizational requirements.

7. Participate in and ensure the development and implementation of HR policies and programs encompassing all aspects of human resource management, including employment, labor relations, wage and salary administration, training, placement, safety and health, benefits and employee services.
8. Direct the development, implementation and maintenance of sound and equitable salary, benefits and allowances programme and ensure that the company maintains a level competitive to the market.
9. Administer reward strategies, employee recognition programs, and human resource programs that support the Company’s objectives and business plan, enhance staff performance and morale and which provide a level of remuneration sufficient to attract and retain employees of the right caliber.
10. Ensure that all agreement and negotiation with Trade Unions are in line with company overall objectives and safeguard the company interest.
11. In the event of redundancy, implement redundancy and severance policy and advise termination payments and provide possible alternatives and provision of outplacement counseling.
12. Oversee, guide, direct and monitor the activities of Organization Development, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Policies sections to ensure that acceptable, expeditious and high professional standard of services are rendered to all offices company wide.
13. Provide clear direction, set team goals, develop and motivate team members to support and deliver Gulf Air’s vision and business objectives through creation of work environment conducive to high morale and effective performance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Job Description MH-PROPCONS : Property Consultants – Dubai and Bahrain
Our client, a multi billion dollar international conglomerate, with a portfolio consisting of Property Development, Industrial Catering & Food chains, Investments & Trading is looking for a Property Sales Consultant for Dubai and Russia to join its dynamic team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
• Identify changing demands of clients as well as the market place.
• Assist with analysis of target markets and specific projects to assess opportunities and risks.
• Conceive opportunities and threats in order to gain a competitive advantage while positioning.
• Establish good relationships with clients, preserve their confidentiality and deal with all their transactions ethically.
• Identify and package real estate development investment opportunities as well as manage specific investment projects.
• Set targets and establish lines of accountability within the team and maintain a portfolio of high net worth individuals/corporations.
Requirements:
• Must have knowledge of market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies in Dubai as well as Russia.
• At least 2 - 8 years of overall sales experience, preferably in the real estate industry in Dubai or Russia.
• Ideally you would have Real Estate / Automotive / Financial Products / Hospitality / Life Insurance or related service selling industry experience.
• Consideration will also be given to Russian/French/Italian/Spanish/Iranian/Arabic speakers.

Job Content:


To manage positive projection and enhancement of ALBAs corporate position, internally, externally and within the aluminum industry. To devise and direct Events and communication campaigns for internal and the public, in order to support and maintain effective communication and healthy relation with government, media, society and other stakeholders. Key Functional Accountabilities 1- Manage timely and sustained media coverage of ALBAs business according to the agreed strategy and objectives locally and regionally and to the aluminum industry worldwide. 2- Manage term to deliver quality publications in a timely manner including internal and external newsletters, brochures and other special department publications. 3- Establish and manage an effective internal communication process to communicate information from management, and other important information using several internal channels.



Qualifications / Experience Required:

University degree holder in related field Recognized professional certificate in PR/Journalism (desirable). Professional writing skills in English (Arabic desirable) Excellent understanding of PR and marketing communications. In-depth understanding of media. Minimum 7 years Media/ PR experience. Experience working within GCC business environment desirable. Experience working within industrial environment desirable but not essential.
