The following positions are available with one of the leading Kuwaiti medical services companies.

The positions are for one of its exclusive specialty hospitals to be opened shortly. The right

1. Chief Engineer – Engineering Department

· To plan, co-ordinate, manage, monitor and evaluate the efficient and effective delivery of the
Hospital's Engineering Service.

· To effect strategic change within the Engineering Service in working towards "Best Practice"
principles and processes.

· To provide a commitment to customer service principles.

· Maintenance of plant and equipment.

· Supervises and liaises with all engineering related contractors.

· Contract Management and building projects.

· To liaise with architects, consultants and staff on building and engineering works within the
Division.

· Complete investigation work as required relating to building projects.

·Assist Executive management in the preparation of building project specifications and analysis of
tenders. • Quality Management.

Experience & Qualifications:

· Tertiary degree in Mechanical and or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience at a senior management level.

· Member of a professional engineering institute.

2. Supply and Purchasing Manager

· To manage an efficient and effective Supply and Purchasing Department that meets the day to day
demands for goods and services to delivery

quality health services throughout the Group.

To ensure all significant equipment, furniture, IT and services purchases are appropriately acquired
and meet the agency's operational requirements.

For general. medical and pharmaceutical supplies ensure the stock levels are appropriate to maintain
services without holding excessive stock. Ensure Department heads are well educated on the supply
and purchasing system.

Ensure there is a tight internal control system to account for deliveries, stock on hand and usage.

· To ensure there is a system in place that enables 24 hours access to emergency supplies.

· Regular stock takes by Supply staff and Annual stock take undertaken.

· Variations to the recorded stock and the physical count must be investigated.

• Ensure an adequate risk management is in place to alert staff stock shortages.

Experience & Qualifications:

· Tertiary degree in logistics / supply or equivalent.

· Experience at a senior level in a considerable size hospital (5 years of more experience).

3. Human Resources Manager

· To be responsible for the delivery of a range of efficient and effective Human Resources services.

Provide day-to-day operational Human Resources support to Executives, Managers and staff.

· Ensure the effective and efficient provision of the Hospital's Payroll/Remuneration.

• Maintain harmonious relations with all staff and other departments during the execution of the
Department's function.

Experience & Qualifications:

· Tertiary degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.

· Experience at a senior management level.

4. Marketing & Public Relations Manager

· To promote locally and internationally the Company's and its Divisions as the premier health care
provider in Kuwait.

· To arrange and promote the soft opening and ongoing commissioning of the new hospitals and Medical
Clinics network.

· Provide marketing and PR plans to cover the individual agency's services, and the network of
services across the hospitals and medical clinics.

· To manage the marketing and PR for the existing medical clinics and its transition to the new
specialty hospital.

· To provide strategies that minimizes the risk of any potential damage to the reputation of any of
the agencies resultin9 from patient complaints, legal action, poor media or adverse patient events.

• To develop marketing strategies that will meet the targeted market share to maintain the agencies'
profitability.

Experience & Qualifications:

· Tertiary degree in Marketing or equivalent.

· Experience at managing a marketing and PR function at a senior level.

· Demonstrated high level skills and experience in marketing and public relations. Experience in the
Middle East and marketing new services would be an advantage.

· Experience in co-coordinating marketing and PR strategies for a significant range of services
delivered across multiple sites.

· Ability to work at a senior management level as well as being able to relate to the users of our
services.



5. General Service Manager

To be responsible for the delivery of a range of catering and general services through a mix of in-
house and contracted in services that support the delivery of high quality VIP health services.

Ensure that all services to be contracted are fully scoped, have comprehensive tender specifications
and that the Agencies are protected through a tight contract.

Ensure the management of the contract is established to maximise the benefit to our Agencies and the
contract is being delivered according to the contract in every aspect.

Ensure that an efficient and effective cleaning service is maintained in accordance with
International Standards for all areas of the Agencies including Internal and external buildings, car
parks, grounds, equipment I furniture, soft furnishings, motor vehicles, and ambulances.

· Ensure an effective and safe pest control system is in established and managed.

Manage, train and supervise an in-house specialist cleaning service for the key critical infection
control areas.

• The development and maintenance of a food distribution and menu monitoring program to ensure
hygienic and efficient service of meals to Hospital patients.

The development and maintenance of the Hospital dean linen supply and spoiled linen recovery
systems. This is to include a supply, laundry and maintenance service for Hospital owned linen and
laundering of patients' clothing.

Ensure that all car parking is managed efficiently to cater for Executive, staff, VIPS, patients,
visitors and service vehicles.

Experience & Qualifications:

Tertiary degree in Hospitality / Health Administration or equivalent.

Experience at a senior level in contract management and delivery of Hotel type services.
