DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATIVE AFFAIRS
The National Health Authority is a newly established and dynamic institution
dedicated to achieving excellence in providing a fully integrated system of
quality health care services for all people living in Qatar. We seek to employ
some of the world's best physicians and other key medical, research and
administrative staff to realize our vision of becoming world renown, innovative
and a centre of educational and research excellence.
We are in search of a strong team player with a client service orientation and
exceptional financial and administrative skills, someone who can multi-task and
provide leadership and oversight for NHA's financial and administrative
operations. This is a senior position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
You will provide leadership for budgeting and the overall financial management
of the NHA, as well as overseeing and leading NHA operations planning and
information requirements, internal management systems, contract management,
facilities management and human resource activities.
You will develop the annual administrative budget and' implement and monitor the
approved budget, prepare reports on the NHA's administrative activities and
accomplishments including financial reports (e.g. cash flow, projections of
financial performance) and develop and direct the implementation of the
administrative and internal financial policies and procedures of the NHA along
with its employment regulations in consultation with the Office of Legal
Affairs.
Experience & Competencies
Five years experience as a Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer
or Chief Operating Officer (or equivalent) in a large organization or
governmental entity;
10 - 15 years experience directly related to the administrative and financial
duties and responsibilities described above;
Fluency in speaking and writing Arabic and English;
A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field;
A team player, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and Healthcare
experience strongly preferred.
Preference will be given to qualified Qatari Nationals
