CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (STEEL SBU)

ANIE has three major STEEL subsidiaries producing 500,000 TPA of Steel Billets and 550,000 TPA of Debars duly supported by a gas-based DRI Plant, equipment infrastructure consisting of SOT Electric Arc Furnace, 9/11 M 4 Strand continuous casting and 90 T/4 R Modern European Steel Rolling Mill. The current product mix is Billets, Rebar & Welded Mesh.

The ideal candidate will be an Mechanical! Metallurgical Engineering graduate with 15 years of experience in heading the operations of an integrated Steel Plant with outstanding success track record. He will be expected to lead the Profit Centre Heads of the Subsidiaries in all disciplines of business as well as advise the Board on ways and means to accomplish it’s aspirations of growth. Employee strength in the Steel Sector is about 700.

Some of the focus areas would be:

• Implementing best technology and practices for the Strategic Business Unit.
• Conceptualizing & structuring processes and systems to ensure operational excellence. Optimizing productivity for producing quality steel at the most competitive operating cost. Drive enhanced focus in the areas of Safety & Environment.
• Operation and stabilization of steel making units within the SBU.
• Build organizational & people competencies to deliver strategic objectives.
• Guide the Sales and Purchase Departments of respective Units.


CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (POWER SBU)


The ideal candidate will be an Electrical! Mechanical Engineering graduate with preference for additional management degree having 15 years of experience out of which at least 5 years being at the Corporate level having HEAD the company/ division, manufacturing Transformers, Switchgears or other electrical products with outstanding successful track record. He is expected to be a smart techno-commercial man willing to work hard & bring in global know-how as well as provide leadership to the existing operations & spear-head the future expansion plans. Currently, ANIE has 5 operating Plants in AGCC Countries in the Power Sector, employing about 700 people.

Some of the locus areas would be:

• Implementing best business practices for the Strategic Business Unit.
• Optimizing productivity to achieve the most competitive operating cost.
