Petrofac (Malaysia) is looking for
SENIOR RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Summary of Responsibility
To provide effective reservoir engineering capability to Petrofac Malaysia. This will involve all aspects of reservoir engineering and in particular, the building of reservoir simulation medels to establish the optimal development of the Cendor Field in the medium and long term, as well as participating in reviews and analysis of new prospects/opportunities throughout the sE Asia region. In addition, projects will be scoped and completed in areas such as EOR, production optimization and field development planning.

Reservoir Management – Cendor Field
1 Update the medium and long term reservoir management plan
2 Build, Maintain and update the dynamic reservoir database and simulation model.
3 Define ways to improve the recovery factor within the field – CO2 injection, artificial lift, water flood pattern infill drilling etc.
4 Prepare Medium to long-term production forecasts
5 Work closely with the other sub-surface team members to optimize the workflows and provide solution to complex reservoir description and field development issues. Identify additional opportunities within the PM304 area
6 Prepare work scopes, select contractors and manage out-sourced projects efficiently and effectively
7 Prepare technical and management reports.

Reservoir Expertise
1 Participate in data rooms, new prospect evaluations and reservoir assessments leading to recommendations regarding investment opportunities for Petrofac throughout the SE Asia region.

Management Expertise
2 Be willing to assume team leader responsibilities and play a wider management role while still maintaining a technical role.

Minimum Qualification / Criteria
3 Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or earth Science from recognized university.
4 Minimum 8 years working experience in similar position, preferably with an oil company.
5 Expert in using industry software covering: reservoir simulation, well test analysis, well flow analysis.
6 Have experience with water floods, gas drive reservoirs and EOR technology.
