The Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) is seeking to appoint a CEO

for the Higher Education, Skills & Further Education Agency.



The KHDA's chief mandate is to develop the education sector & enhance the quality of service in order to achieve Dubai's social development vision identified in the Dubai strategic Plan 2015. The successful candidate will support the strategic plan through KHDA's mandate, & focus on all higher education providers in the Emirate of Dubai.



JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Director General, the CEO will exercise broad executive powers over the Agency's role & its work. He or She will lead the Higher Education, Skills & Further Education Agency in its development & play a principal role in benefiting both public & private higher education stakeholders in the Emirate of Dubai.



KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:

Set the Agency's strategic plan in line with KHDA's strategy & objectives.
Motivate & develop Human Capital within the Agency.
Direct the Agency's Budget & Finance operations.
Build effective models of excellence within the Agency.
Establish strategic Networks & Relationships within Higher Education stakeholder community.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate should possess the following attributes:

Effective leadership skills.
Relevant career experience at an executive level.
The ability to manage & implement & strategic planning process.
A high level of integrity & excellent interpersonal skills.
